General Information Services ("GIS") Acquires BackTrack. Inc.
General Information Services ("GIS"), one of the leading providers of background screening and talent acquisition services, today announced it has completed the acquisition of BackTrack Inc. ("BackTrack"), an industry-leading background screening provider.
BackTrack offers a full suite of employment screening services and has grown steadily since its founding in 1994, serving a diversified, nationwide customer base. BackTrack's deep experience with clients in the healthcare and manufacturing industries will allow GIS to quickly expand its capabilities and customer relationships in these sectors. The acquisition underscores GIS' focus on developing a robust platform for its client base, through both organic growth and acquisitions.
