Checkpast SoldZeroChaos, an Orlando global work force solutions company, has acquired Checkpast, an employment screening firm it has partnered with for the past four years to conduct government-mandated e-Verify checks. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. ZeroChaos CEO Harold Mills called the Checkpast acquisition ìsmart business.î "Today, employment screening is critical. The upfront investment to understand a candidate far outweighs the risk and cost of a bad hire," said Mills. Dallas-based Checkpast offers pre-employment screening services and background checks including criminal, civil, federal, Social Security, employment and education. Privately held ZeroChaos reported revenue of $664 million in 2008, up 38.6 percent from $479 million in the previous fiscal year. |
